Aaron H. Meints, 91, of 716 S. Sixth St. died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1995, at Pekin Hospital.
Born Feb. 9, 1904, in Tazewell County to William and Rose Hagney Meints, he married Minnie Brauer on July 8, 1928, in Pekin. She died Dec. 19, 1988. Three brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, William of Homewood and Donald F. of Pekin; one brother, Edward of Pekin; and one sister, Luella Newland of Kalamazoo, Mich.
He worked for the United States Postal Service for 42 years, retiring as assistant active postmaster in charge.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
