Funeral services for Eva Lois (Airhart) Cole, 88, of Dry Creek, LA, will be held at 10 AM Monday, March 13, 2017, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. LA, with Rev. Don Barrett and Rev. Sam Burchard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 5 PM until 9 PM, and continue Monday, March 13, 2017, from 9 AM until time of the service, all at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Eva was born on August 31, 1928, to Daniel Edmond and Cornelia (Green) Airhart in Bell, LA. She passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.
She lived most of her life in Dry Creek and was a retired Lunch Room Manager at East Beauregard School in Dry Creek. She was a very unselfish, loving and giving individual. She loved her family dearly, especially her “grandbabies.”
She is survived by three sons, Daniel Eugene “Danny” Cole (Renee’), Larry Dale Cole (Maxine) and David Olen Cole (Deleta), all of Dry Creek, LA; one sister, Evelyn Dowden of Chunky, MS; two grandchildren, DeAnna and Quinn, and one great granddaughter, Eva Jane.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Cole.
