Edna L. Perkins, 99, of Yakima, peacefully passed at Good Samaritan Healthcare Center on Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was born December 28, 1917 in Washington (Iowa was incorrect - see attachment).

She is survived by her friend and caregiver: Jenifer Hester of Yakima; granddaughter: Crystal D. Perkins of Granite Falls, WA; great-grandchild: Trenton R. Perkins of Yakima; nieces and nephews: Rose Neisinger, Betty Rollins both of Monroe, WA, Dale Johnson, Terry Johnson both of Marysville, WA, Carolyn Keisz of Idaho, Susan Ruley of Iowa, David, Danny, James of Texas, and Larry Stetz. She was preceded in death by her husband: Burgess L. Perkins, September 10, 1980, and a son: Richard L. Perkins, May 8, 1985.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2017 at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors.

She will be greatly missed! I'm going to miss you, love Jennifer.
