It is known (from a listing of marriage licenses published 28 Jan 1899 in The Crowley Signal) that Moise became engaged to Melicia Doucet, and also that (per baptismal records) the two of them had these three children together:
* Louis, born 13 Jun 1898 (Church Point church records v.5, p.134)
* Cleophas/Clifford, born 25 Sep 1900 (Rayne church records v.5, p.360)
* Joseph, born 3 Aug 1903 (Iota church records v.2, p.6)
and, family accounts report at least one more child:
* Ruby, born 22 Mar 1909
It is unclear how long the family remained together, however; Moise is listed as "deceased" on marriage documents for two of his children despite being alive at the time of the marriages, and he is identified as a bachelor in a later probate document despite Melicia and the children being alive at the time. And in his obituary (posted on this page), no spouse or descendants are listed. Moise's children and their descendants largely settled in Evangeline Parish.
