Tresha Bell Phillips, 70, of Hendersonville, died early Tuesday March 7th, at Mission Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born April 25, 1946 in Henderson County to the late Jennings and Ruby Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Bell.

A native of Henderson County, she was raised in the historic “Mill Village”, and retired from Kimberly Clark.

She is survived by her children, Mal Callahan and Melanie Hensley, and her fiancé, Randy Wooten; Grandchildren, Jessica Fitzgerald and husband Steven, Ryan Callahan and girlfriend Rachael, and Justin Callahan and girlfriend Shelby; Great-grandchildren, Phoenix Fitzgerald and anxiously awaited Baby "Peanut" Callahan, due in August of this year. She also leaves behind her beloved nephews, niece, several cousins, several lifelong friends, and her loving poodle, Ruby. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew, loved and befriended her.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Shepherd Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Dr. Larry Appleby and Reverend Thomas Glenn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Tresha’s memory be made to Boxer Butts and Other Mutts at boxerbuttsandothermutts.org.
