Mia was born on April 2, 1959 in Des Moines to Dorothy (Harriger) and Chuck Lampman.
Mia enjoyed sewing, quilting, doing crafts, antique shopping, decorating, and spending time at her church. She loved to sing and especially loved time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Ken; children, Dennis Howard, Tiffanie (Brad) Money, Alyssa (Brian) Latta, and Jacob (Amanda) Heilman; sister, Lori (Barry) Templet; grandchildren; Lillie, Willow, and Dennis Howard, Tyler Weston and Eveah Money, Amaya, Kiara, and Gary Heilman, Madelynn Latta and extended family as follows; Nicholas (Katherine) Boozell and their son Aricin Boozell, Afton (Drew)Switzer and their children Elijah and Macion Glover, and Harper Switzer, Briana Boozell, Cassandra Boozell, as well as many other loving family and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather “Hat” Howard; her parents and her brother, Roy Lampman.
Funeral services will be held at Fort Des Moines Open Bible Church, 1116 Army Post Road in Des Moines, as follows:
Visitation Friday, March 10th from 6-8 pm
Funeral Saturday, March 11th at 11 am with a reception lunch to follow.
