Bernice Grimm Kirby, 88 of Bells, Tennessee died on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Bells Nursing Home in Bells, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, November 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Grimm and the late Goldye Bernice Largent Grimm.
She was the retired office manager for J. C. Penney Company in Jackson, Tennessee.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kirby will be 1:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.
She is survived by one son, David Robert Kirby and his wife, Paula of Scottsdale, Arizona; one brother, Bill Grimm and his wife, Sandra of Maryville, Tennessee and one grandson, Jonathan Kirby of Phoenix, Arizona.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Kirby.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be directed to Disabled American Veterans, 21 East Keen Street, Kissimmee, Florida 34744.
