Mr. Baggett was born in Conecuh County and had been a resident of Monroe County for 25 years.
He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.
Mr. Baggett retired from Vanity Fair where he worked as a supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ned Baggett and Era Bell Hicks Baggett; his brothers, Rogers Baggett and Gene Baggett; and his sisters, Mary Hamm and Shirley Watts.
Survivors include his wife, Rita House Baggett of Monroeville; his daughter, Brittany (Bryant) Baggett of Silver Hill; his sister, Vera Daniels of Evergreen and two grandchildren, Addison and Logan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Brewton officiating.
Burial will follow in Baggetts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
