ARLINGTON - Opal Crawford Wallace, 89, died Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, in Arlington.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wildwood Chapel in Restland Memorial Park. Burial: Restland Memorial Park.

Opal Crawford Wallace was born July 5, 1908, in Santo. She resided in Garland for most of her life and had lived in Arlington for five years. She was a clothing designer for Lorch Manufacturing.

Survivors: Brothers, Foy Doyle of Redding, Calif., and Vaughn Doyle of Whittier, Calif.; sister, Lola May Pittman of Andrews; sons, Don Wallace of Arlington and Sonny Wallace of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters-in-law, Luan Wallace of Arlington and Georgia Wallace of Atlanta; grandchildren, Michael Wallace of Arlington, Scott Wallace of Fort Worth and Marty Wallace, Melissa Oklat and Derek Capers, all of Arlington; and great-grandchildren, Michael Ducote Wallace and John Taylor Oklat of Arlington.
