The daughter of William C. Frazure and Mary L. Chapman; prior to their marriage on 8 June 1898, William was very ill. Just two days before their wedding, Mary's mother, Mary Hagey Chapman died from a stroke. Both Marys had relocated from Philadelphia, PA and moved to Shreveport, LA where William had set up a cigar factory. After Mary's mother's death, they moved to San Antonio, Texas and were enumerated there for the 1900 US Federal Census. They then moved to Palm Beach where William passed away in January 1901.
