The funeral of Walter O. Brandenburger, 75, of St. Petersburg, Fla., will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
Mr. Brandenburger, formerly of Belleville, died Friday at St. Petersburg. He was a coal mine supervisor for the former Southern Coal, Coke and Mining Co.
Surviving are a son, William Brandenburger, Del Ray Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Imboden, R.R. 1, Belleville; two brothers, Adolph Brandenburger, 1809 W. Adams St.; and Oscar Brandenburger, McLean, Va.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Brandenburger was a veteran of World War I.
