James "Jim" Launius, age 85 of Eldorado, Arkansas formerly of Hope passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Eldorado, Arkansas. Mr. Launius was born in Eldorado on June 21, 1931 to John Roland and Ora Ophelia Hodge Launius.
He had worked for Wheeling Pipeline for over 30 years, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War; a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Eldorado, Arkansas; a Mason, member of the American Legion and the Disabled Veteran's.
Mr. Launius is preceded in death by his parents; John Roland and Ora Ophelia Hodge Launius.
Mr. Launius is survived by his wife, a son, daughter, a brother, a sister and a grand-daughter, other family members and friends.
