Quitman - Mrs. Boyd Howard, 58, died early yesterday in a Monroe hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Jonesboro Church of God with Rev. Clayton Perry and the Rev. M. C. McNeill officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery under direction of Edmunds Funeral Home.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Arnold Howard and Alton Howard of Quitman and Hayes Howard of Jonesboro; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Cannady of Shreveport and Mrs. Joy Sherrard of Lubbock, Tex.; three brothers, Tracy Pate of Shreveport, Walter Pate and George Pate of Quitman; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtice Alexander of Quitman, Mrs Mattie Bell Wright of Monroe, Mrs. Tressie Sanderson of West Monroe and Mrs. Irene Davis of Los Angeles Calif.; and a number of grandchildren.
