Lillian Henrietta Sports Parnell, age 86, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away February 25, 2017, at Elmcroft Senior Living of Mount Zion in Jonesboro, Georgia. She was born in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late Rupert Sports and Carrie Arnold Sports. Lillian was a homemaker, a military wife, and a mother of three children. In her younger years she enjoyed ceramics and crafts. She had a love for music. As a resident of Elmcroft, Lillian enjoyed bingo, arts and crafts, and loved to watch game shows. Her passion in life was her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Charles Edwin Parnell, Jr., and a brother Wallace Sports.
