She was born in Joliet August 1, 1949. Paulette was a graduate of Lockport West High School, Class of 1967.
She retired from Block, Block & Cernugel Law Firm. She enjoyed taking day-trips, shopping and bike riding with her husband, Chuck.
Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Charles “Chuck” E. Atchley. Five brothers Raymond (Kathy) Gleason, Thomas Gleason, James Gleason, Patrick Gleason and Robert (Diane) Gleason. Two aunts Anna Jean 'A.J.' (Ted) Gleason-Cowan of Joliet and Eileen (James) Hartman of Columbus, Indiana. Two nephews Raymond (Jennifer) Gleason and Bobby Gleason. Three great-grandnephews Ryan, Aiden and Avery. A sister-in-law Sue (Bob) Ruettiger and their daughters Lori and Renee Ruettiger. Also her good friend Ruthie.
Preceded in death by her parents William 'Ray' R. Gleason (2005) and Dorothy L. Gleason (2016).
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Monday, March 6th at 11:00 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, from 9:00 A.M. until service at 11:00 A.M.
