Deseret News, December 13, 1950:
Cedar City Barber Dies
Millard Dow Watson, Cedar City barber, and exalted ruler of Cedar City Elks Lodge, died at the Iron County Hospital Monday. Mr. Watson, who had been working at his shop until two weeks ago, died of a stroke.
He had been a barber in Cedar City for 35 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a member of the Elks Lodge, and a Chamber of Commerce member.
He was born at Parowan Feb. 21, 1881, the son of Lorenzo Dow and Melesha [sic] Clark Watson. He married Lola Sawyer at Parowan in 1908.
He is survived by his widow of Cedar City, two sons and one daughter, Millard S. Watson and Dow Watson, Cedar City and Mrs. Billie W. Clark Las Vegas, Nev., two brothers and thirteen sisters.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Southern Utah Mortuary.
