When Alfred Bethell was born on 13 Mar 1809 in Carroll, Tennessee, his father, Green, was 24 and his mother, Nancy, was 19. Died 11 Oct 1887 Booth Township Scott Co. Arkansas. He married Elizabeth "Betsy" Campbell and they had ten children together. He then married Stacia Phillips and they had five children together. He died on October 11, 1887, in Scott, Arkansas, having lived a long life of 78 years. Son of Green Floyd Bethell and Nancy Zillah Busey Alfred married Elizabeth Campbell in 1828 Obion Tennessee children are William Green, Daniel, James Franklin, Arzella,Charlie Chester, Thomas Campbell, Talitha Evens, George Washington Pritter, Albert Harris & Nancy Emerline. After his wife passed away in 1870 Scott Co. Arkansas he married Stacia Phillips in 1876 Sebastian Arkansas there children are Martha,Betty,Charlie & John Tilman. Alfred Bethell was one of the first Pioneers to come to Scott Co Ark. He lived in Petit Jean Valley
