By 1940 Gale and his mother were living with her widowed mother Allie Rose (McCarthy) Olsson in Rockypoint, Wyoming. His grandmother was a rancher. Allie's brother Emmet was also living there, with his children Revel I. ~1930-? and Eva Marie 1932-2000.
At age 10, he moved with his mother, Mae Faith, and grandmother, Allie Closson, to Prescott, Arizona where he attended elementary and high schools.
Gale served in the Navy.
He married Barbara Ann Chisum in 1952. They had a son in 1951 and a daughter in 1957.
The family lived in Phoenix, Goodyear and Avondale. He worked for Goodyear Aerospace for nearly 20 years and later as a contractor until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara.
Gale was survived by his daughter, Deannea Dagilis of Prescott; his son, Paul Faith, vice mayor of Litchfield Park; five grandchildren; and his father-in-law, H.P. “Buster” Chisum, 96, of Goodyear.
