Dixie Lee Tackett McKinney wife of Danny McKinney passed away from this life on Monday February 27, 2017 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt Vernon, Kentucky.

Dixie was born on August 20, 1945 a daughter to the late Ellis Tackett and Mellie Bentley Tackett.

Along with her husband Dixie is survived by two brothers: Charles Terry Tackett of Beaver and George Tackett of Teaberry; four sisters: Sarah Faye Hamilton, Wanda Lee Hamilton and Beatrice Hall all of Teaberry and Eillen Tussey of Beaver. And a host of Nieces and Nephews family and Friends.

Along with her parents Dixie is preceded in death by four brothers: Arnold Lee Tackett, Andy Lee Tackett, Donald Ray Tackett and Ellis Orville Tackett; and three sisters: Edith Jones, Maudie Tackett and Wilma Lee Tackett

Time and Place of Services: Thursday March 2nd, 2017 at 11am at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin

Visitation: after 6pm Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home

Officiating: Old Regular Baptist Ministers

Burial: Tackett Cemetery, Beaver, Kentucky
