Dorothy Lee Hood, 79, of Sapulpa, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006.

She was born Sept. 12, 1927 in Kellyville to Charley and Dovie Williams.

She graduated from Kellyville schools.

Dorothy met Thomas Hood and they were married in September of 1954 in Miami, Okla.

Dorothy was a homemaker.

She is survived by her loving husband; son and daughter; sisters Ethel Farmer of Miami, Okla., [Living person redacted], and Juanita Miller of Bristow, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Cazzell and Rodney Cazzell; parents Charley and Dovie Williams and one brother, Charles Ray Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronene Foster. Vocalists will be Ronene Foster and Eddie Foster. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Selsor, Nick Selsor, Daniel Babcock, David Pipkin and Virgil Romine.

Interment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
