Earett Elihu Orrell died Monday night at his home in Dresden. He had been ill for some time. He was 75. Mr. Orrell was born in Weakley County, October 1, 1883, the son of Dock Orrell and Mary C. Bradbury Orrell. He was a Methodist.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ada Bradbury Orrell, one daughter, Mrs. Jack Ivie of Paris; two brothers, Tommie Orrell of Martin and DeWitt Hathcoat of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Estes of Churchland, Virginia andMrs. Florence Morris of Dresden.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Dresden Baptist Church with the Rev. George Douglas officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery with Bowlin and Riggs Funeral Home of Dresden in charge. Pallbearers were Casey Spikes, Harold Dunn, Dale Hutcherson, William Parks, Snoda Parham, and Harold Ford.
