Jean Brooks, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Destin, FL. She was a retired nurse and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Brooks served her country in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Ethel Stinnett Hendrix; her first husband, James Wesley Brooks; three sisters, Willow Mae Hendrix, Mable Newbern, and Viva Lee Peppers; and one brother, Alden Hendrix.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, March 02, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 02, 2017. Interment will follow at Dobbins Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
