YAKIMA - Leah Koelling, 88, of Selah, died Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at her home at Riverview Manor in Selah.
She was born on November 19, 1914 in Dubois, Idaho to Francis Edward Kingsford and Ethelyn (Dowdle) Kingsford. Leah met Sidney Meyer Koelling in 1933 and they were married on August 25th, 1934 in Logan, Utah. They spent the early years of their marriage in Blackfoot and Rexburg, Idaho. Leah and Sid moved to Yakima in 1942, where she has lived since.
Leah worked for Del Monte Cannery for thirty-one years as a trimmer and sorter until retiring in 1978. Since she worked for three or four months a year in the cannery she devoted most of her life to being a homemaker and mother. …(Partial Obit)
