Mother - Abby Jane (Wells) Hubbard; daughter of Tomlinson and Electa (Smith) Wells of Litchfield.

Admitted to Connecticut bar 1883; practiced law in Litchfield 1883-1937; partner Hubbard & Cramer (David Cramer, '28 L.) since 1928, with offices in Torrington and Litchfield; Justice of the Peace, Litchfield, 1889-1926, and Judge of Probate 1906-1912, 1914-1926.
Representative in the General Assembly 1901 and 1903.
President Echo Farm Company; Director Litchfield Mutual Fire Insurance Company and Litchfield Savings Society.
