Freda Jeanette Duggins, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville. She was a native of Hardin County, a member of Vine Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Phelps Dodge. She was a die-hard UK fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Anna Davenport Edlin; three brothers, Wendell Edlin, Wardlea Edlin and Leslie Edlin, three sisters, Goldie Parrett, Geneva Pellman and Gladys Perkins, and two great grandchildren, Lily Isabel Hadden and Landon Chazz Hadden. She is survived by one son, William McCoy of Louisville, two daughters, Belinda (Paul) Stuecker of Elizabethtown and Cynthia Duggins of Maine, two sisters, Dorothy Pellman and Sadie Daniels both of Elizabethtown, five grandchildren, Joe Stuecker, Amy Hadden, Allison Stuecker, Ashley Roberts and Michael Bickett and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
