PETER CLEMENS, SR. DEAD - Last Sunday evening death came to relieve the suffering of Peter Clemens, sr., who had been ill for a little over a week with an attack of lung fever and pleurisy, aged 59 years. Peter Clemens, sr., was born in Kornsdorf, Luxembourg, in 1837, and came to this country in 1867, settling in this vicinity where he has since resided. A family of five children survives the deceased as follows: Mrs. Susie Welter, Crookston; Mrs. Lizzie Pott, St. Paul; Mrs. Kate Betsinger (sic), Mt. Pleasant, and Peter and Theodore, residing in Mazeppa.
Funeral services were held in St. Peter and Paul church yesterday morning, Rev. Fr. Limberg officiating, and the remains interred in the Catholic cemetery.
