Mrs. Maud Hoover, 48, Dies in Local Hospital
Mrs. Maud Hoover, 48, of 227 Inyo Street, a resident of Fresno eight years, died yesterday in a local hospital following a long illness. She was a native of Kansas.
She leaves her husband, George D. Hoover, a local salesman; a son, George Hoover, Jr., and a daughter, Betty Jean Hoover, of Fresno; four brothers, Lonnie Hughes of Parlier, John Hughes of Saucelito, Benjamin Hughes of Kansas and Claude Hughes of Louisiana; her father, A.E. Hughes of Fresno; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Gregg of Kansas City, MO.; Mrs. Iva Mersman and Mrs. Mabel Rogers of Lawrence, Kansas, and one grandchild.
The Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
