Michael Moakley, 81, Dead in Northampton
Northampton, Feb 7 – Michael Moakley, 81, died in his home in Bay State this morning. He worked as a machinist in the Bay State Cutlery more than 40 years. He was a fire engineer when Northampton was a town. He was Councilman in the first City Council and later served as Alderman.
He leaves a wife and one daughter, Katherine.
