JOHN A. LONCKI
John A. Loncki, 84, who worked for Carborundum Co. for 42 years, died Monday (Jan. 17, 2000) in his home after a brief illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, he served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He worked in Carborundum's Bonded Abrasives Division before retiring in 1979.
Loncki belonged to the Greater Niagara Musicians Association, Local 106-209. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 1322; North Tonawanda Lodge 860; the Echo Club; the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are a son, John R. of Niagara Falls; a stepson, Ronald of Ramona, Calif.; a daughter, Carol Mang of Youngstown; and three grandchildren.
