Funeral services for Ben Hammond Lott, Sr., 80, of Blackville, SC will be held two p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Blackville First Baptist Church with the Reverends Ken Frederick and Dr. Thomas Terry officiating; burial will in the Blackville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Tuesday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Blackville First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 217, Blackville, SC 29817. Mr. Lott passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
Born in Blackville, SC he was a son of the late Ben Tillman Lott and Inez Martin Lott. He was a member of Blackville First Baptist Church, retired after working at Milliken for 37 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sarah Toole Lott; daughter Cynthia “Cindy” (Tim) Riddle of Aiken; sons Ben Hammond Lott, Jr., of Aiken, Mark Toole (Julie) Lott of North Augusta; sister Mildred L. Tuttle of Hollywood, FL; brother Monroe (Marcia) Lott of Blackville; sisters–in-law Vivian M. Lott of Blackville, Anne B. Lott of Clemson; grandchildren, Alex and Victoria Riddle, Aaron, Rachel, Jacob, Grayson and Wesley Lott; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Claude and Harold Lott and brother-in-law J. B. Tuttle.
