There is "no town" by the name of "Mt. Glen" anywhere in Union County, Oregon. What there is, is a road named Mt. Glen which runs the length of fertile farmland.

The Ackles Cemetery where Ira Davis Tiffany is buried is off Mt. Glen Road surrounded by farmland in La Grande, Union, Oregon. I found Ira by researching to find his location, also by calling Ackles Cemetery staff. They had him on record as just "male Tiffany". I gave them the dates of birth and death and it matched. Am so happy I found him and could give a correct location for him!

Cemetery staff has told me the Cemetery ADDRESS IS,

63708 Mt. Glen Rd., LA GRANDE, Union County, Oregon 97850, (541) 963-3712. NOT ISLAND CITY!!!!!! My volunteer Find A Grave member photographer Art Moore drove out 3 hours of his way to locate and photograph his grave. There is no marker.

I also double checked the address online.

Ira Davis Tiffany died of Smallpox and the home or outbuilding where Ira lay ill, they had to burn it down when he died.

Gravesite Details

No headstone or Marker . The Cemetery registry only had listed as; Tiffany, male, and one year off from what I had records showing. South West corner. So we concluded it had to be Ira Davis Tiffany so they were happy to add a full name for him.
