SALT LAKE CITY - Alfred M. Sevy, 42, 4394 S. 3080 E., formerly of Ogden, drowned Tuesday [June 13, 1972] in the Strawberry Reservoir near Heber.
Mr. Sevy was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Eprhaim, Utah, a son of Franklin Hespert and Rozella Sarah [names reversed] Pehrson Sevy.
He was a real estate broker and construction worker for the Dan Patch Realtor.
He was married to Colleen Anderson in 1950. They were later divorced. He was married to Marjorie Abendorth on Dec. 12, 1969, in Elko, Nev.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow; one son and three daughters, Randy Sevy, West Jordan; Debra Sevy, Lorrie Sevy and Tracy Sevy, all of Sandy; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ralph (Peggy) Norris, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Douglas (Billie Jean) Sykes, Pocatello, Idaho; three grandchildren.
Also surviving are his mother, of Ephraim; five brothers and one sister, Kenneth Sevy, Wayne Sevy, both of Ogden; Milton H. Sevy, Neldon Sevy, both of Salt Lake City; Robert Sevy, Ephraim; Mrs. Wallace (Frances) Ruesch, Granger.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood, where friends may call tonight from 6 to 8 and Friday one hour prior to services.
Burial will be in Washington [Wasatch] Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
