Shreveport, LA - Services for Lucille Scalia Lewis will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Charles Glorioso assisted by Father Joseph Ampatt. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2003 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel with a vigil service at 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Lewis was born March 14, 1907 in Bastrop, LA and died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 in Shreveport, LA. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was a member of the Altar Society and St. Joseph Guild.

Her husband, Frank Lewis; parents; five sisters; and two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors are her sons, Stanley J. Lewis, A.J. "Ace" Lewis and wife, Josie and Ronnie Lewis and wife, Cathy all of Shreveport, LA; sister Eunice Genousa of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Susan Grarriga, Angela Camden, Donna Williams, Gina Hobgood and Heather Lewis; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lenny Lewis, James Lewis, Ron Lewis, Greg Williams, Jeff Camden, Marius Hobgood, Christopher Grarriga and Michael Grarriga.

The family extends a special thanks to Darlene Streetman and the staff at Pierremont Nurse Care.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 810, Memphis, TN 38101 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
