Sylvia May Cooper, passed away at her home in La Barge, Wyoming on Feb. 14, 2010, at the age of 69.

She was born on June 25, 1940 in Highmore, S.D., the daughter of Thomas J. and Lona Marie (Volz) Davis. She married Manuel J. Cooper, and he preceded her in death April 27, 1997.

Sylvia loved to crochet, sew, and go gambling, upholster old furniture, and do carpentry.

She is survived by her children, sons: Mike Christensen, of La Barge; David (Darla) Christensen, of La Barge; and Robert (Sherry) Cooper, of Casper.

She is survived by a brother, Caryl Davis, of Woods Cross, Utah.; two sisters, Anita Daugherty of Rawlins; and Phyllis Kaulman, also of Rawlins.

She is survived by eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
