Jacob Famulener was born between 1760-1770, most likely in Netherlands, some date to 1761 others 1766.

Jacob Famulener and his wife Catharine moved between 1804 and 1805 to Green Tp, Ross Co, OH.

Jacob and Catharine had eleven children: Anna (1792), Elizabeth (1794), Hannah (1796), Jonathan (1798), Rebecca (1799), Hepzibah and Katherine (1801), Jacob (1804), Charles (1807), John (1810).

Catherine and Jacob may be buried on the family farm nearby and not in the cemetery. There is no marker for Catharine or Jacob.

Jacob came to Ohio with his family early in its settlement and was a pioneer of Ross County, where he reclaimed a farm from the primeval wilderness. The farm, which contains two hundred and thirty-nine acres of fine, alluvial soil, and is situated on section 36, Pickaway Township, is well watered by Kinnickinnick Creek, which runs through it, and is remarkably productive.
