Minnie Dunn was born in Missouri, a daughter of Herschel Zvi "Harry" Agron and Annie Edith Brustein, both immigrants from Russia. She had siblings Meyer Nathan, Jack Harry, Fannie A. and Jule, all born in Russia

Her parents immigrated in 1913 aboard the R.M.S. Lusitania which became famous two years later. They settled in St. Joseph, Missouri where her father owned a general store.

Minnie married Isadore D. “IS” Dunn in 1936 in St. Joseph. They had twins Florene and Irene and son Stephen.

They lived in St Joseph, Missouri where they owned a jewelry store.

Minnie and IS retired to Sun City West, Arizona.

Minnie was survived by her daughters, Florene Amster and Morene; son, Stephen; brother, Jule Agron; and two grandchildren.
