Sharon Elaine (Cotton) Deeds, 63, of Buchanan, Michigan passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI. She was born on September 30, 1953 to the late James & Vonnie Cotton in Texas City, TX. On March 20, 1981, she married Alfred Deeds in Baytown, TX, moving to Buchanan, MI.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alfred; four children, two sisters, one brother, 15 grand children, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Vonnie Cotton; grandparents, Claude & Alberta Flaherty; and two brothers, Stephen Cotton and Rick Cotton.

She graduated from Texas City High School in 1972. Sharon honorably served in the U.S. Air Force, Rank E4 (Military Police). For 24 years she was the First Lady of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, Buchanan, MI. She was also a teacher at Bethel Christian Academy.

A funeral service for Sharon will be at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 945 Chippewa St., Buchanan, MI 49107. Visitation will be prior to the service from 3 - 6 pm.
