Joseph Novak, 74, of Strabane died in the Canonsburg General Hospital Sunday morning at 8 o'clock. He contracted pneumonia last week and was removed to the hospital on Thursday.
A native of Austria, he came to this country in 1931 and had lived in Strabane since that time.
His wife is deceased. A son, Joseph, lives at 234 Alexander Ave., Strabane; and two brothers, Frank and Joseph, live in Colorado.
The body has been removed to the Hinton Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Ellwood M. Schofield. Burial will be in the Oak Springs Cemetery.
