GRANBURY - Marion A. "Bud" Baldwin, an agent for Merchant Motor Lines, died Wednesday in Granbury. He was 89. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Martin's Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial will be in Granbury Cemetery.Mr. Baldwin was born in Eliasville. He lived in Weatherford for 40 years and had lived in Granbury since 1966. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Eliasville.Survivors: Wife, Linnie Baldwin of Granbury; four sons, Melvin Baldwin of Weatherford, Carl Ashby of Kalama, Wash., Johnny Ashby of Reno, Parker County, and Robert Ashby of Granbury; six daughters, Loette Peugh of Weatherford, Ada Randall of Fort Worth, Bonnie Askins, Marlene Payne and Shirley Hopper, all of Granbury, and Betty Pruett of Arlington; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.(source: Fort Worth Star Telegram – 05 March 1993 - p.20)
