ADRIAN ARGANBRIGHT OBITUARY
Adrian Byron Arganbright Jr. died Sunday evening, October 28, at his home in Paradise Valley, Arizona, aged 82.
Born in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1925, he was predeceased by his wife Patricia Denton Arganbright and is survived by his daughter and son and grandchildren.
Although his last years were increasingly difficult, he often reflected on a life filled with good memories. He passed peacefully with his daughter and son by his bedside.
Dad, himself, recently wrote this for an alumni publication:
"...I entered West Point hoping to be a pilot. Eyes went bad...so I doubt that I would have stayed in the AF-Adm. very long, I am, however deeply proud to be a graduate of the institution whose sons have served our country so nobly. My story is more modest. I returned to Ohio and married long time sweetheart, and we have a son and daughter,and two grandchildren. I was active in church, civic, fraternal, political, social, and business affairs. As a property and casualty insurance agent for 20 years, I was successful enough to retire and we moved west.
Not a life of headlines---but more joys than sorrows---more successes than failures---many dear friends over the years. As I approach the end of the line, I feel it's been a great life."
