Douglas Barber, 81, of Yadkinville, NC formerly of Sanford passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. He was the son of the late David and Bessie Allen Barber and predeceased by his brothers Lawrence, Norman, Horace and Alfred Barber. Douglas retired from the textile industry. Surviving is his wife Donna Faye Barber of the home, stepsons Ray Stevenson of Sanford, John Preston Wicker and Jeffrey Wicker both of Yadkinville, step daughter Tracy Lineberry of Yadkinville, 7 grandchildren Christina Stevenson, Samatha Riggans, Ashley and Allyson Lineberry, Beckie Holton, Preston Wicker and Rachel Brown, 5 great grandchildren.
