Georgia was born January 12, 1929.
She worked very hard all her life and loved helping others. She was happiest working at Holy Cross Hospital for forty years in the delivery and emergency room as a LPN.
She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes to everyone. She also loved reading books, watching mysteries, and playing her nickel slot machines. She will be loved and missed.
The family would like to thank the staff of Canyon Hospice for their kindness and help.
Preceded in death by her parents; both brothers; husband; and son, Steven Mark Connell, who passed away from wounds received in Vietnam. Survived by her sister, Phyllis Brown; six children, Sheila Taylor (Allen), Peggy Harr (Evan), Dixie Dewolf (Dirk), Paul Connell (Vickie), David Connell, and Mary Elizabeth "Tammy" Baker (Gerund); grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She loved her family very much.
A memorial and graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
