She was born on January 16, 1923 in Mansfield, Arkansas to J.W. and Bertha Mae (Wood) Black.
She was a homemaker and a member of Excelsior Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers and her husband, Kendall Arnold Gothard, Sr.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Speegal Cemetery.
She is survived by her three daughters, Wilma Clay and her husband Joe Dan, Brenda Mitchell and her husband Johnny both of Greenwood, AR and Linda Nichols and her husband Carl of Huntington, AR; one son, Kandall Gothard, Jr of Hackett, AR; eleven grandchildren and numerus great and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jason Gothard, Nelson and Matthew Nichols, Larry Roberts and Mason and J.W. Clay.
