Honora Williams was born in March of 1855 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, the last-born child of Elisha Williams and Honora “Nora” Winn Donnelly Williams. She had two full and two half-siblings. Her heritage was Irish.

Honora died at age three on August 9, 1858. She was probably buried at the new Saint John's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery located away from Saint John’s in the outskirts of Newark. Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church was built next to the cemetery, and in 1960 when Saint Michael’s needed to expand into the cemetery, Honora and the remains of other poor Irish immigrants were moved to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, Bergen County, New Jersey where they lie under a large Celtic cross. The cross marks the spot where those buried at Saint John's Catholic Church Cemetery between 1835 and 1910 were re-buried at Holy Cross in 1960. I wish someone could add her photo to this site.
