Ruth Lowe Hall, 88, of Hayesville went to Heaven on Monday, July 4, 2005. A native and lifetime resident of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Nova Edwards Lowe, and the wife of the late Frank Hall. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Hayesville Church of God. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, and quilt making.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Lowell Hall, and Joel Rod Hall.
Surviving are a daughter, Dolores Dyer and husband, Harold of Blairsville, GA; two sons, Steve Hall and wife, Betsy of Hayesville, and Rex Hall of Blue Ridge, GA; 10 grandchildren, Becky Dyer Stowe, Denise Dyer Driskell, Debbie Dyer Braswell, Anita Dyer Walker, David Dyer, Rex Hall, Jennifer Hall Hinson, Jeffery Hall, Stephanie Hall Lowe, and Don Hall; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, and good friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7 in the Hayesville Church of God with Revs. Glen Case and Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Hayesville Baptist-Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don, Jeff, and Rex Hall, David Dyer, Ray McBryar, and Ivan Walker.
The family received friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville where the body was until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
The family requests memorials be made to the Hayesville Church of God, 74 Fort Hembree Rd., Hayesville, NC 28904.
