He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosa Gibson Balthrop; son, Harold Clayton (Patricia) Balthrop; daughters, Connie (David) Holman, Cheryl (Shane) Davis; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, J. B. Balthrop, Frank Balthrop, Clyde Balthro; sisters, Dorothy Hudgen, Francis Head, Demple Gupton, Bon nie Moore and Faye Murphy. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.. Funeral services will b e held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2 p.m., at Boyd Funeral Home, with Bro. Roy Goodmiller, Bro. Freddy T. Wyatt and Bro. Nick Muizneiks offici ating. Interment will be in the Balthrop Family Cemetery in Chapmansboro, TN. Nephews will serve as Active Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers
