Mrs. Susan Yokum died at the home of her brother, George Iman, a few miles south of town on Sunday afternoon after a long illness of cancer. Many years ago the deceased was married to Hiram Yokum, who in a short time after they were married lost is life by an accidental discharge of a shot gun in his own hands. The remains were buried Monday afternoon in the Iman burying ground near the place of her death.
