George Skidmore, aged 55, a well known and highly respected resident of Plainville, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ambrose Griffiths at an early hour this morning after a three months' illness of asthma.
Deceased was born in England and came to this country with his parents when a mere boy, and has worked in and about the mines since he was eight years of age.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ambrose Griffiths, also one brother Samuel of Miner's Mills.
