George A. Miller
Age 82 of Massillon, died July 25, 2009. He was born on Oct 21, 1926 in Globe, AZ, and was son to the late William and Lillie (Clary) Miller. He had lived in Kimbolton, Ohio before moving to Massillon. He retired from Eaton Corporation where he worked for 39 yrs as a furnace operator in the heat treat department. George was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, gardening and jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly J. (Yost) Miller of Massillon, daughters Janet (Steve) Myers of Rockbridge, Ohio, Diane Miller of Massillon and son Brian Miller of Columbus, two grandchildren Mellisa and Joseph Myers and great granddaughter Aven Myers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William Craig Miller and sister Luella Bokelman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel. There will be a scriptural service held during visitation hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary School Angel Fund, 640 First St. N.E., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
