SHREWSBURY - Rosanna C. (Lucier) Derosier, 93, of Worcester, died May 15th, 2011 at the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shrewsbury.
Her husband George E. Derosier predeceased her, as well as four brothers, Alfred Lucier, Joseph Lucier Jr., Raymond Lucier and Adelard Lucier, and three sisters, Marie Eva Alarie-Trottier, Amelia Tirella and Marion Dighton and a grandson James Derosier.
She leaves her three sons, George and his wife Shelly of Williamsburg, VA, Joseph and his wife Susan of Leicester and James and his wife Dorothy of Worcester; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A sister Lorraine M. Waterhouse of Dudley also survives her. Rosanna was born in Shrewsbury, the daughter of Joseph A. Lucier, Sr. and Ezilda (Vanasse) Lucier. She attended the one room schoolhouse # 5 in Shrewsbury.
Forever in our hearts, all who loved her will forever miss her. She had a special love of family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Thursday, May 19, 2011, from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial followed at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
